Are the ingredients all natural?

The ingredients we use in our Wepa seasonings are all natural. Even our anti-caking agent is a patented, all-natural rice fiber.

Are the WEPA Seasonings free of GMOs. Preservatives and MSG?

We believe that natural is better, so our seasonings have NO MSG, NO Artificial Colors,  and NO Preservatives.

Are the WEPA Seasonings Gluten-free and kosher?

Wepa seasonings have NO Gluten, NO Soy, NO Dairy, and NO Nuts. While we use Kosher salt, our seasonings are not Kosher or Halal.

Are the WEPA Seasonings dairy-free?

Wepa seasonings have NO Gluten, NO Soy, NO Dairy, and NO Nuts.

How hot is the WEPA Faiya?

While the heat is well-balanced and flavorful, Wepa Faiya is very hot. If you are not used to eating spicy food, you may want to stick to Wepa Heat.

What is the difference between the WEPA HEAT and WEPA FAIYA?

We wanted to create a hot spice that was representative of the Caribbean. Wepa Heat uses peppers that bloom in your mouth and are both sweet and pungent. Wepa Faiya uses Wepa Heat as a base and adds an entire other dimension of spice by including Habanero, Ghost, Scorpion, and Carolina Reaper peppers in incredible harmony and balance.

What is the shelf-life?

Technically, dried herbs and spices do not go bad. The shelf life of herbs and spices simply represent the time that it takes for them to begin losing potency of flavor. When stored properly, dried herbs and spices are good for 3 to 5 years but we’re confident that you’re going to run out of this stuff WAY before then.

Are WEPA Seasonings KETO-friendly?

Wepa Flava, Heat, and Faiya are KETO, Paleo, Diabetic, Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten, and Whole30 diet friendly. We only use all natural ingredients and that’s really the point of all good diets. Wepa BBQ has small amounts of powdered maple sugar and powdered molasses (1g/serving). We used these sweeteners because they add great flavor and they have lower impacts on blood sugar.

What are the preferred cooking methods for using the WEPA Seasonings?

Wepa seasonings have been carefully and meticulously created to be used in many different ways. You can use them as dry rubs on meats, as base seasonings for stews, chili, beans, and yellow rice, or as a topping on your fries and popcorn. You can even mix the spices with certain liquids to make wet marinades and sauces. Check out our videos and social media for different ways to cook with and enjoy all our seasonings.

How would you describe the WEPA Flava Seasoning?

Wepa Flava is a harmony of salty, savory, herbs and spices reminiscent of rustic Caribbean cooking. It can enhance the flavors of vegetables, meats, stews, soups, and pretty much just about anything you cook.

How would you describe the WEPA BBQ Seasoning?

Wepa BBQ is the marriage of Caribbean flavors and the flavors of southern BBQ. With Wepa Flava as a base, we add the acidity of ground espresso coffee, the sweetness of molasses powder and maple sugar, and heat and smokiness of Ajica and Smoked Serrano peppers. This combination of flavors will have you saying “WEPA Ya’ll”.

Could I use the WEPA Seasonings as a topper?

Try your favorite Wepa seasoning on fries, tostones, yuca frita, or even popcorn! Use Wepa Heat or Wepa Faiya on your corn on the cob for a twist on Mexican street corn (elotes).

Are free samples available?

No, we do not offer free samples through our website. Wepa Seasonings are made in small batches and directly poured in containers and sealed for freshness. Unless we are planning one of our events, sample sizes often sit out and we cannot guarantee the freshness that you deserve!

Are the WEPA Seasonings packaged at plant with nuts?

Wepa seasonings are NOT packaged in a facility that uses or processes tree nuts.

Orders & Returns

How to return an order?

You may return your unopened package for a full refund (minus shipping and handling) within 30 days. You are responsible for all return shipping costs. Refunds will be issued upon receipt of unopened package.

Please contact us with the return tracking number. We’ll issue a refund once the unopened package has been received. Please allow 5-7 business days for the refund to reflect on your account. In the meantime, you can contemplate the error of your ways and place a new order while your refund is being issued.

How do i cancel an order?

If we’re still processing your order and have not assigned a tracking number, you may cancel your order, but why would you?! Please contact us if you need further assistance with cancelling an order.

Can I change my order after it is placed?

If you place an order and realize you obviously didn’t order enough, just contact us.
If we’re still processing your order and have not assigned a tracking number, we will be able to add as many items as you want to your order. Yes, you can reduce the number or sizes of items or even cancel your order at this time but, WHY WOULD YOU!
However, if your order has been picked and is ready to ship, we will not be able to change your order. If you still want to change your order after it is placed and shipped, you can return the products unopened back to us at our facility:

What are your shipping methods and policies? Where do you ship to?

US orders including AK, HI, and US territories
Caribbean Daze uses the United States Postal Service. Shipping prices to these destinations are calculated based on weight and zip code. The price and arrival date will be shown at checkout.

Orders shipping to PO boxes, APO and FPO
We ship to PO boxes! Shipping prices on orders to PO boxes are calculated based on weight and zip code.

Orders shipping to Canada
Shipping prices to Canada are calculated based on weight and postal code. Please note that all prices are shown in USD. You are responsible for the duties and taxes if imposed by your country’s customs.

Orders shipping to other international destinations
Shipping prices to other international destinations are calculated based on weight and postal code and/or country. The price and estimated arrival date will be shown at checkout. All prices shown are in USD.

Delivery Times for your orders
You may wonder why your items take a different amount of time to arrive each time you order. The exact shipping time depends on many factors, such as availability of the ingredients to make the spice. Usually shipping times are 3-5 days for handling and, depending on the service you chose at checkout, the shipping times range from 3 to 8 days to the lower 48 states! Shipping to other places may take longer.
